ILLUSTRATING THE SCOPE OF PAST PROJECTS -
LARGER - THAN LIFE SIZED WORKS
Quan Yee - Buddhist Goddess of Water. - (14
feet high)
Two copies were made of this work. One was installed at the Buddhist
Monastery in Carmel, New York, with the vessel in her left hand
connected to a water
line so that it would display pouring water into the lake, the other at
a Buddhist Monastery in Toronto, Canada - where the vessel was kept
upright, with no water flowing.

Quan Yee - Buddhist Goddess of Life - gave the earth water so that it
could have life.
This job
required two installations. One showing Quan Yee with the vessel
in her left hand pointed down, allowing water to flow into the lake.
The other installation had the vessel held upright, since she was
installed on a deck over the lake, where visitors would be walking
around her.
